From Oct. 24-28, Avoya Travel hosted its first in-person educational and networking event since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, welcoming nearly 200 independent agencies and licensed agents — along with some 20 preferred supplier partners — onboard Celebrity Apex.
Hosted in partnership with Celebrity Cruises, the event provided an opportunity for Avoya Travel Network members to reconnect with fellow advisors, suppliers and Avoya representatives, as well as experience the Celebrity Apex product.
“While Avoya has hosted many highly successful virtual events during the pandemic, there is no substitute for face-to-face interactions and in-person education and networking,” said Steve Hirshan, senior vice president of sales at Avoya. “We are thrilled to be able to gather together onboard the cutting-edge Celebrity Apex and celebrate a return to normalcy.”
