On Jan. 23, three days ahead of the 62nd annual Grammy Awards, Hawaiian musicians gathered at the Clive Davis Theater at The Grammy Museum in Los Angeles to pay tribute to the music and culture of the Aloha State.
The performance, part of the annual Mele Mei in LA event, featured several Hawaiian Grammy nominees, in addition to winners of Hawaii’s prestigious Na Hoku Hanohano awards. The concert, presented by Outrigger Hotels and Resorts, was preceded by a musician-led morning workshop and was followed by a VIP rooftop reception for musicians, travel industry professionals, the media and their guests.
Additional sponsors included The Grammy Museum, Hawaii Tourism Authority, Delta Vacations and TravelAge West, among others.
