Last month, Destinations International (DI) held its annual CEO Summit in Savannah, Georgia, drawing more than 300 attendees. CEOs, executives and industry partners came together to discuss strategies for navigating an increasingly complex industry shaped by geopolitical instability, natural disasters and social issues.
Highlights included keynote presentations from Richard Kessler, president and CEO of The Kessler Collection, and architect Christian Sottile. Engaging leadership sessions were led by Jack Johnson, DI’s chief advocacy officer, and Jared Orton, president of exhibition baseball team the Savannah Bananas. Attendees also enjoyed a creative immersion workshop hosted by the Savannah College of Art and Design, which emphasized the role of culture and design in shaping vibrant destinations.
