Tourism Cares has officially released the agenda for its North American Meaningful Travel Summit in Asheville, North Carolina, taking place April 14-16.

The event is designed to “connect purpose with practice,” bringing together travel business and destination leaders with local organizations to advance a community-forward approach to tourism.

This year’s summit will offer attendees education opportunities around responsible and sustainable travel, including sessions with industry leaders and local changemakers; immersive community experiences, such as hands-on volunteering and river adventures around Asheville; and practical workshops and resources.

Participants will also network at formal and informal social gatherings, meeting tour operators, destination marketing organizations, travel advisors and local partners.
