During Travelsavers’ Elite Retreat late last year, 50 of the network’s top travel advisors cruised the Danube River from Budapest to Vienna onboard Avalon Waterways’ Avalon Impression. Highlights of the itinerary included a painting workshop in Bratislava, Slovakia; an evening tour of Belvedere Palace in Vienna; and more.
The experience also highlighted two hot trends that Travelsavers noted in a recent survey: Its advisors named Eastern Europe among the top rising destinations for 2024, while river cruising ranked as one of the most in-demand travel styles.
