Location and History

Opened in 1999 as a simple camp, the Bwindi Lodge is now one of Uganda's most luxurious lodges. It is located in the Buhoma sector of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and guests can fly roundtrip between Entebbe and Kihihi airports on a private charter.

Perched on a hill, it has privileged views of the forest and is close to one of the entrances to the park where the Gorilla trek begins.
