Kore, a travel advisor training program, has relaunched with an updated digital platform designed to modernize the learning experience and help address the industry's workforce needs.

The revamped system includes interactive tools, updated curriculum modules and flexible content delivery options that can be tailored for both individual learners and travel agencies.

"The travel industry is evolving at lightning-fast speed," said Diana Hnatov, Director of Sales and Services for Kore. "Agencies and advisors need help to stay ahead of trends and maintain a competitive edge. Kore's upgraded learning experience will give them that boost they need to prosper in this industry today and tomorrow."

Platform Features

The new system offers mobile-first access, allowing students to complete coursework on phones, tablets or desktops. Courses incorporate AI-enhanced voiceovers, subtitles, video and audio tools. The platform now meets Americans with Disabilities Act compliance standards. A searchable library provides access to glossaries, templates, booking forms, exercises, tip sheets and job aids.

The platform includes personalized skill tracking, interactive quizzes with instant feedback, visual dashboards to monitor progress and gamification elements such as points, badges and recognition.

The travel industry is evolving at lightning-fast speed. Agencies and advisors need help to stay ahead of trends and maintain a competitive edge.

Curriculum Updates

Kore has expanded its offerings to 17 modules, adding two new topics: using AI in the travel industry and cybersecurity for data protection. Existing modules on social media marketing and industry compliance have been redesigned with input from industry experts. The curriculum covers booking fundamentals for various travel types, revenue strategies, and customer service.

The self-paced format allows dedicated learners to complete the program in as little as three weeks.

"Kore's new platform goes beyond just delivering information," said Hnatov. "It creates an interactive, personalized learning experience that prepares new advisors for real-life achievements. No other training program offers KORE's flexibility, experiences and customization, which will dramatically enhance the learning curve."

Agency Customization

The program now offers customization options for agencies, allowing them to align content with their brand, systems, and objectives. The platform is available in 31 languages to accommodate advisors whose first language is not English.

Kore provides graduates with mentoring and career referrals. The program trains students to research, design and book travel, serve clients and build their businesses.

Industry Context

According to Future Market Insights, the travel agency services market is projected to grow 10.4 percent annually, reaching $1.4 trillion by 2035. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics forecasts 7,100 annual job openings for travel advisors over the next decade.
