There’s a new change coming to the Trafalgar portfolio of brands. Premium tour operator Insight Vacations and budget-friendly operator Costsaver will now be folded into the larger Trafalgar name. This move brings more than 600 itineraries spanning 75 countries under one cohesive brand.
Set to debut in the fourth quarter of 2026, just in time for the Black Friday booking period, Trafalgar’s expanded portfolio will now span five distinct travel categories –– tours, small groups, river cruises, rail journeys and group sales –– for travel advisors and their clients to select from when trip planning. The company’s three cost tiers (saver, classic and premium) will further allow advisors to cater experiences to their clients’ needs regardless of budget.
The Trafalgar experience and pricing advisors are already familiar with will remain under the brand’s classic tier. The saver tier will be comprised of the budget-friendly, flexible Costsaver tours, while the premium tier will encompass Insight Vacations’ elevated travel experiences and accommodations.
“Bringing these experiences together under Trafalgar allows us to preserve what advisors and their clients value while removing layers that no longer make it easy to do business with us,” said Melissa DaSilva, deputy CEO and chief sales officer of TTC Tour Brands.
To help support the newly expanded portfolio, Trafalgar will pour its largest investment to date toward increasing consumer demand and brand awareness in 2027.
Currently, advisors can access resources to help with the transition via TTC’s Travel Agent Portal. Webinars are also scheduled for Sept. 2 and Sept. 17.
“We want an advisor to be able to come to Trafalgar with a client and find the right way for them to travel, whether that means a premium tour, a small group, a river cruise or a completely different experience as their needs evolve,” DaSilva said.
