One of Atlanta’s favorite traditions, The St. Regis Atlanta’s Astor Holiday Rink, will return for its fourth consecutive year. The rink provides an intimate and magical experience of skating in the outdoor setting of the hotel’s 40,000-square-foot Piazza. Protected from the elements by a sheer tent, the rink is adorned with whimsical white lights and features the soft sounds of festive holiday tunes. The Astor Holiday Rink will be open through Jan. 2.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, The St. Regis Atlanta will offer seasonal favorites such as hot cocoa, s’mores and Coca-Cola in holiday-themed bottles in the outdoor area surrounding the Astor Holiday Rink. Visitors can enjoy these treats while sitting next to the Piazza’s cozy outdoor fireplace. The rink will be open to all visitors from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday to Friday, and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. Skating sessions will start every hour and will be priced at $30 per hour for adults and $18 per hour for children under age 16.
The St. Regis also offers a Holiday Tea With Santa, when kids can have tea with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Each afternoon tea features teas served with an assortment of sandwiches and pastries. The Holiday Tea With Santa is offered Thursday through Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Nov. 30 to Dec. 9 and daily Dec. 13-24. The service costs $38 per child.
For families visiting from out of town, the hotel is offering two holiday packages. The Holiday Traditions package includes skating and starts at $359.
