In response to recent trends, Uniworld has developed two multigenerational river cruises, designed to bring the family together during summer break. The family-friendly, all-inclusive cruises offer a 50 percent discount for youth between the ages of 8 and 18, when traveling with an adult.

For $2,399 per person, based on double occupancy, families can sail the Rhine River between Amsterdam and Basel with the nine-day Castles Along the Rhine River Cruise. On this trip, families will sail past impressive castles and visit the Speyer Technical Museum, which houses a walk-in Boeing 747, a U9 Germany Navy submarine, locomotives and helicopters.

Sailing along the Seine from Paris, the nine-day Paris and Normandy River Cruise includes guided tours of Paris and visits to France’s Joan de Arc Museum and Naturospace Museum.
