Tour operator Collette Vacations recently launched its new Collette Family Vacations brand, which is geared toward multigenerational travel. The new Family Vacations brand features its own brochure and online micro-site, and offers nine new itineraries to such destinations as U.S. National Parks and Canada to the Galapagos Islands and Kenya.
"Launching Collette Family Vacations is really a natural extension of what we're all about -- Collette is in its third generation of Sullivan family ownership," said Collette president and CEO Daniel Sullivan Jr. Collette Family Vacations tours operate like escorted tours, but are geared toward parents and grandparents traveling with children. Child rates of up to 50 percent off adult rates are available for children ages 14 and under and apply even with only one accompanying adult. Other standard tour features include complimentary roundtrip airport transfer service on all air-inclusive tours; commission on land, airfare, waiver and pre-sold options for travel agents; and a No Worries Cancellation Waiver that allows for a full cash refund up until the day prior to departure.
