Disney Cruise Line Bound For Alaska: Disney Wonder // © 2009 Disney |
Disney Cruise Line recently announced that, for the first time in the line’s history, it will offer seven-night Alaskan cruises for the 2011 summer season. The Disney Wonder will sail the new itinerary, departing from Vancouver, British Columbia, and sailing to Tracy Arm, Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan, Alaska.
The first-ever Disney cruise to Alaska will depart on May 3, 2011, and the last cruise of the season is scheduled for Aug. 30. Rates for the new itinerary start at $939 per person for a standard inside stateroom, based on double occupancy.
The ship, which went into dry dock in October, is also being retrofitted with a new 65-seat Outlook Cafe venue in order to maximize passengers’ views of Alaska scenery.
