Hurtigruten has unveiled a new travel agent website that includes the line’s Amundsen Explorer Club agent certification program, extensive training and support materials. The site incorporates webinars; brochures; video and photo libraries; special offers for travel advisors; group planning information; marketing tools; detailed information on Hurtigruten’s range of adventure products; and the names and contact information for Hurtigruten sales representatives.
Travel advisors can educate themselves on the 123-year history of the line and its year-round role in coastal Norway. The site provides ship details and information to help travel professionals connect their clients with Hurtigruten’s adventure/expedition destinations, including Norway, the Arctic’s Spitsbergen, Antarctica, Greenland and Iceland. Advisors will also learn more about the line’s ships that cater to 100 to 646 guests.
The new site offers educational modules about selling to groups, best practices for prospecting potential clients, advice on closing the sale and tips on online booking. Graduates of the online course receive benefits including exclusive use of the Amundsen Club logo, e-newsletters, priority fam trip access, exclusive offers and exclusive incentives.
