MLT Vacations is building on new air service from its airline partner Aeromexico and has announced vacation packages for two new resort destinations in Mexico. Travel agents can now book vacation packages for their clients at the Baja California Sur resort destinations of Loreto and La Paz through Aeromexico Vacations and Delta Vacations.

“La Paz and Loreto are spectacular destinations and represent the very best of Mexico,” said John Caldwell, president of MLT Vacations. “Whether their clients are looking for stunning beaches, championship golf or unmatched ecotourism opportunities, travel agents will appreciate all that these world-class destinations have to offer.”

Loreto’s standout attraction is the historic La Mision de Nuestra Senora the first mission built in Baja California in 1697. La Paz is well-known for its three-mile malecon, range of local restaurants and the Costa Baja golf course. Both cities are beach destinations on the Sea of Cortez and offer excellent sportfishing and ecotourism opportunities at offshore islands.

Travel options are available through MLT Vacations’ airline partner Aeromexico, which recently added twice weekly, nonstop flights between Los Angeles (LAX) and both La Paz (LAP) and Loreto (LTO). These flights are scheduled for Thursdays and Sundays. Delta Air Lines offers connecting service to LAX from destinations across the U.S.

Four properties are available for vacation packages in Loreto: Hotel Santa Fe at The Islands of Loreto, Hacienda Suites Loreto, La Mision Loreto and the Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa at The Islands of Loreto. All properties are available through Aeromexico Vacations and Delta Vacations. For La Paz vacations, MLT Vacations is also offering packages at four hotels: Araiza Palmira Hotel, CostaBaja Resort & Marina, Seven Crown La Paz Centro and the Seven Crown La Paz Malecon.

“Baja California Sur offers great activities ranging from swimming with sea lions year-round, an active gray whale watching season and swimming with whale sharks,” said Luis Palacios Larranaga, director of the State Board of Tourism, Baja California Sur. “With new direct flights from LAX and the synergies created with MLT Vacations, travelers now have an opportunity to visit these destinations that truly offer lifetime experiences for families and adventure seekers alike.”
