A new Hawaii Island tour invites guests to walk in the footsteps of ancient royalty while making a positive impact on the environment. Called the Hawaiian Legacy Tour, the off-road adventure takes guests through Hawaiian Legacy Hardwoods’ historic koa tree forest, once the personal property of King Kamehameha the Great. Much of the area was cleared a century ago for farming and ranching, but clients can still see some of the oldest trees on the property and plant their own koa legacy tree to contribute to rainforest conservation efforts. Guests feel good knowing that $20 from each tree goes to their favorite charity, with $1 donated to Hawaiian Islands Land Trust.
