To help travel agents sell Latin America, Starwood Hotels and Resorts has launched three new destination modules for its ProLearning program: Panama City, Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro. By the end of the year, Starwood expects to have 100 hotels in operation or under development in Latin America, and the modules will inform agents about properties in each region. The modules also share sightseeing, entertainment and culinary options near each hotel.
With the addition of the Latin American modules, agents can now learn about 14 destinations through the ProLearning program. Once a module is completed, agents qualify for discounted travel rates and other exclusive benefits from Starwood.
