Whether your clients plan on doing some serious lounging by the pool or pounding out a last-minute proposal on their laptops during their stay at Oahu’s Turtle Bay Resort, a few recent changes at the property have made their job a little easier.
By its swimming pool, the North Shore property recently replaced its bright yellow umbrellas with thatched-style shades. The resulting design feels much more in harmony with the rural Hawaiian landscape that surrounds the hotel. The change is part of Turtle Bay’s ongoing goal of providing the best, most authentic guest experience possible.
Other recent pool upgrades include making the change to a saltwater-based purification system. The move reduces the use of some chemicals and eliminates other chemicals that could potentially harm the environment. These and other initiatives recently earned Turtle Bay Resort an award for its eco-friendly practices.
Inside the hotel, meanwhile, Turtle Bay Resort has renovated its business center, turning it into a more valuable resource for clients needing to get a little work done during their vacation. Designed to be an office away from the office, the facility has gone through a series of improvements resulting in upgrades like refurbished counter tops and new equipment.Turtle Bay Resort’s business center — part of the Pacific Rim Conference Center, which offers 31,000 square feet of meeting space — is equipped with three computers, one printer, Internet access, USB ports for thumb drives and extras like packing materials and supplies. A newly installed picture window in the business center brings breathtaking views of the ocean indoors, a reminder that paradise awaits once the task is done.
