Unico Hotels, a new adults-only, all-inclusive hotel brand, will officially launch at the beginning of 2017 with the debut of Unico Hotel Riviera Maya.
With an emphasis on local and native culture, Unico Hotels will offer clients the chance to connect with the art, food and geography of a region. Each property will have the Esencia Studio, located in the Esencia Wellness Center, where guests can purchase in-room amenities from local artisans and craftsmen. Food and beverage offerings will be designed to celebrate regional ingredients as well as showcase the talents of annually rotating chefs. Hotels will also provide developed private excursions, through which guests can explore lesser-known local spots with hosts from the area.
Unico Hotel Riviera Maya will offer 448 guestrooms with ocean views. Other highlights will include a plunge pool, four gourmet restaurants and five bars and lounges.
“Unico Hotels will shatter the preconceived notions and expectations of what the all-inclusive category currently offers,” said Frank Maduro, vice president of marketing for Unico Hotels.
