ABC City Guides for Kids just named its picks for the Top Seven Family Destinations for 2012 — just in time for spring break!
1. Pittsburgh, Pa.
If you and your kids are a fan of exhibits, visit the Heinz History Center, the Carnegie Science Center or the Andy Warhol Museum. For the more outdoorsy types, ride the Duquesne Incline and view the city from above.
2. Atlantic City, N.J.
Although known for its adult-oriented fun, the city offers plenty for families as well. They can visit the Absecon Lighthouse, Steel Pier or the Ripley Museum, as well as the Boardwalk and the beach, both of which are home to fresh, saltwater taffy.
3. Times Square, N.Y.
Families can visit sights such as the Hershey and M&M super stores, the giant Ferris wheel inside Toys ‘R’ Us and the Gazillion Bubbles Show on Broadway.
