Economical epicureans nationwide are invited to attend DineLA’s fall (Oct. 3-8 and Oct. 10-15) and winter (Jan. 23-28 and Jan. 30-Feb. 4, 2011) restaurant weeks. The annual event gathers food and travel aficionados to experience the spoils of some of Los Angeles’ premier kitchens and luxurious lodgings without experiencing the guilt of overspending.“We want travelers to discover Los Angeles as a world-class dining destination where they can eat and sleep like stars without breaking the bank,” said Mark Lieberman, president and chief executive officer of event sponsor, LA Inc., the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau.
New hotel and restaurant packages boast a diverse range of culinary and travel experiences. Hotels and their restaurants include: JW Marriott Hotel Los Angeles at L.A. Live and L.A. Market restaurant; Le Merigot and Cezanne restaurant; Millennium Biltmore Hotel and Sai Sai restaurant; O Hotel and O Bar & Kitchen; SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills and The Bazaar; The Hollywood Heights Hotel and The Hideout; The Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club and BaleenLosAngeles; The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites and LA Prime; W Hollywood and Delphine restaurant; and W Los Angeles-Westwood and NineThirty, among others.
Three-course, prix-fixe menus at participating restaurants are available in three dining categories: Deluxe ($16 for lunch and $26 for dinner); Premiere ($22 for lunch and $34 for dinner); and Fine ($28 for lunch and $44 for dinner). Courses include an appetizer, entree and dessert.
Event sponsor American Express is also encouraging its card members to take full advantage of the available three-course meal promotion by inviting participants to register for an eligible American Express Card and receive a $20 statement credit when they dine three or more times at participating restaurants during DineLA Restaurant Week.
