Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has officially opened the doors of its third San Diego property, Hotel La Jolla, after a $4 million renovation.
The transformation features a focus on design, infusing new public spaces — such as the lobby, pool deck and lounge, meeting space and fitness center — with light and open space. Guestroom updates, landscape alterations and a new Mediterranean restaurant all reflect the elegant and contemporary design aesthetics. Hotel La Jolla now offers 110 guestrooms, each with patio or balcony, complete with flat-panel televisions, Frette linens, Begelow bath products and Kimpton’s signature plush animal-print robes.
The new management of the hotel will also bring Kimpton’s special features to the property, including programs such as wellness offerings, a daily hosted evening wine hour, complimentary essential travel items and more.
