The dinner will begin with an opening reception led by the Westin Bonaventure’s managing director and executive chef, followed by a six-course meal paired with six different types of vintage Opus One wines. The wines, hand-selected by Silacci, will range in vintage year from 2000 to 2006.
Opus One is among America’s most celebrated wines, producing wines at its Napa Valley winery in Oakville, Calif. At Opus One, Silacci conceptualizes and directs viticulture and winemaking practices. He joined Opus One in March 2001 and became master winemaker in January 2004, with full responsibility for all aspects of vineyard management and winemaking.There is limited seating available and the dinner is $199 per person.
