The Resort at the Mountain (The Resort), located along the western slope of Mt. Hood, just an hour’s drive from Portland, Ore., recently announced new wedding services to compliment its recent $17 million renovation.
The Resort boasts new, picturesque indoor and outdoor venues for ceremonies and receptions. Golf course and ballroom settings offer scenic mountain, garden or course views that capture the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Venue arrangements can accommodate intimate weddings for as few as 30 guests or large parties of up to 750 guests. Wedding guests receive cuisine expertly prepared by executive chef Paul Bosch and his culinary team from the new Altitude Restaurant. The Resort offers a variety of dining options from small buffets to elaborate multi-course plated meals. Menu items are customized to accommodate each couple’s budget and taste. All-Inclusive wedding packages are offered for couples who are looking for stress-free planning. For added convenience, tables, chairs, linens, China, glassware, silverware and a dance floor are included in the wedding package. The Resort’s staff provides cake cutting and champagne/sparkling cider service for the entire party. Additional catering options include hors d’oeuvres, tended banquet bar, beverage stations and bartending services.
The Resort provides the wedding parties with top-of-the-line service and amenities on their special day. Experienced staff members work with the couple to ensure that every detail from the wedding officiant, to photography, to a tee-time for the groom at the 27-hole golf club, The Courses – whatever the couple desires – is taken care of, allowing the bride and groom to relax and truly enjoy their wedding day.
At The Resort’s premier spa, scheduled to open in Spring 2009, bridal parties will have the opportunity to indulge in pre-ceremony pampering with treatments like massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, and hair and makeup services. Wedding guests also have the opportunity to stay at The Resort and partake in the many on- and off-site recreational activities offered such as biking, fishing, rafting, hiking and golfing at The Courses. In addition, guests can enjoy snow sports year-round, just a ten minute shuttle ride from The Resort.
