The demonstration squadron of the U.S. Air Force will grace the skies over Houston’s Ellington Airport during the Wings Over Houston Airshow on Oct. 23 and 24. Atendees can expect to see four- and six-plane flight formations, head-on passes by solo pilots and a performance by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.
Wings Over Houston will also have the Viper West Demo Team perform an ACC F-16 solo demo which, along with a Thunderbirds performance and an A-10 Thunderbolt II demonstration, will showcase three U.S. Air Force demonstration teams at a single show — a rare occurrence.
General admission tickets purchased at the event site are $20 per adult and $5 per child, per day. A family pack for two adults and up to four children (ages 6-11) is available on WingsOverHouston.com. Those who want optimal views can opt for the Photo Pit package, which includes access to the front-row viewing area, access to a private chalet area, a boxed lunch with a drink and reserved parking. The cost for the Photo Pit package begins at $80.
