The 7th annual Jackson Hole Mountain Festival is scheduled to take place March 30 to April 1. As in previous years, the weekend has a variety of events, including skiing and snowboarding events, live music and sunshine at the base of the Tetons. This year’s festival will feature a musical performance by G. Love and Special Sauce.
On March 31, visitors can head to the Pole, Peddle, Paddle event, which takes place in the morning with an after party at Nick Wilson’s at 3 p.m. The four-event race, where contestants compete either individually or in teams, consists of an alpine ski leg, a cross-country ski leg, a bicycle leg and a boating leg and is a fundraiser for the JH Ski Club Registration.
Music Under the Tram, an apres ski party, begins at 3 p.m. and features musical performances from Lazy Eyes, Elk Attack and G. Love and Special Sauce. Following the music is the Annual Mountain Festival Fireworks display.
On Sunday, visitors can take in the 3rd Annual Marmot Coombs Classic, a celebratory spring skiing event that honors the legendary skier, Doug Coombs. Music Under the Tram takes place at 3 p.m.
