Celebrity Cruises is finally heading west.
The line’s 77,713-ton, 1,870-passenger Mercury will operate 22
seven- to 11-night cruises from San Francisco and San Diego next
September through April 2004.
Several itineraries are scheduled, including California coastal
and Mexican Riviera cruises. The coastal cruises include a stop at
a Mexican port to comply with laws that bar foreign-flagged cruise
ships from sailing exclusively among U.S. ports.
The weeklong coastal cruises are priced from $750 per person,
double occupancy; the 10-night cruises are priced from $1,000; and
the 11-night voyages start at $1,050.
