Silversea Introduces Three New Fare Types for Enhanced Guest Flexibility

Silversea has enhanced its fare structure by introducing three new fare types, designed to provide guests with greater flexibility in personalizing their travel experiences with pre- and post-cruise add-ons including air travel, hotels, transfers and land experiences. The cruise line's all-inclusive onboard offering will remain unchanged.

The three new fare options include the All-Inclusive Plus Fare, which provides guests with a refundable deposit and coverage under the brand's Fare Guarantee Program. For oceangoing voyages, this fare includes a shore excursion credit based on sailing length and region that guests can apply to experiences of their choice. All expedition voyages will continue to include shore excursions, Zodiac tours, expert lectures, in-country flights and pre- and post-cruise hotel nights as required by destinations.

The All-Inclusive Fare will be available exclusively on oceangoing voyages and offers guests the flexibility to purchase shore excursions either before the cruise or onboard. This fare type requires a non-refundable deposit.

The Last-Minute Fare is available on select oceangoing and expedition voyages within five months of departure and offers guests savings. This fare requires a non-refundable deposit and full payment at the time of booking.

Guests can purchase air travel, pre- and post-cruise hotels, transfers, shore excursions and land experiences through Silversea for all fare types, tailored to their needs and preferences.

"The Luxury of Choice reflects our deep commitment to delivering on the feedback of our guests," said Bert Hernandez, president, Silversea. "Our guests consistently tell us that they value flexibility in their travels. With our new fare options, we're empowering them to personalize every aspect of their journey — from start to finish — while continuing to enjoy our signature all-inclusive onboard experience, which is one of the most comprehensive at sea."

Alongside the new fare structure, Silversea is expanding its shore excursion offerings. The brand's land experiences will include Highlight Experiences featuring tours of iconic sites, Signature Experiences with smaller tours crafted by Silversea, Private Experiences offering exclusive tours for guest groups, Custom Experiences providing tailor-made tours and Overland Experiences consisting of two- to three-day mid-cruise inland tours available on select voyages.

The cruise line recently launched City Stays by Silversea, featuring pre- and post-cruise hotel stays in destinations including Copenhagen, Rome, Barcelona and Athens. These stays are designed to provide guests with centrally located luxury accommodations and personalized service, allowing them to experience their embarkation or debarkation cities through dining experiences, curated tours and local community interactions.
