Announced at Google Cloud Next in Las Vegas, Rovey was built on Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Gemini models and BigQuery. The tool processes the many variables involved in selecting a cruise — itinerary, timing, destination mix and onboard experiences — and surfaces recommendations based on a client's travel preferences and timing. The function was previously handled through the cruise line's Sailor Services team.
