Learn About Antarctica With Hurtigruten's Young Explorers Program

Hurtigruten’s complimentary Young Explorers Program allows children to learn about Antarctica through a combination of field research, games and re-enactments. The program, which is best suited for kids ages 7 to 13, gives every child a field-note workbook with exercises in science, photography, polar history and nautical studies.

In addition, kids will have the chance to help out the Expedition Team as they work near a penguin colony; get photography lessons from professionals; meet the captain of the ship; and re-enact the Amundsen party reaching the South Pole.

The program is available on Antarctica Discovery Style voyages onboard MS Midnatsol from November 2016 to March 2017.
