A New Phase for The London West Hollywood

The London West Hollywood has a lot going for it. It showcases world-famous chef Gordon Ramsay's cuisine in his namesake restaurant, features a location just off Sunset Boulevard and boasts spectacular views of LA from many of its guestrooms. And now it’s in the midst of a $23 million renovation. The property recently completed construction on 21 luxury suites, which are located on the previously empty ninth floor of the hotel. With a design by David Collins Studio, the original designer of the property, the new suites feature contemporary design with a wink to the hotel’s British aesthetic.

Five of the new luxury rooms are the remarkable Gate Suites that were designed to pay homage to the iconic gate system at the entrances of London’s Hyde Park. These one- or two-bedroom suites are named after the park’s gate points as well as historically famous British aristocrats and nobles Victoria, Alexandra, Elizabeth, Apsley and Curn. These rooms feature design elements and amenities that reflect British aristocratic life.

The one- and two-bedroom Gate Suites range from 1,425 to 1,975 square feet and feature hardwood flooring; a kitchen or kitchenette; and a terrace with sweeping views of Los Angeles. Guests staying in a Gate Suite will also be treated to exclusive hotel services, including one-way airport transportation and VIP in-suite check-in.

The other 16 rooms are the Royal Vista Suites, each with 750 square feet of space. Royal Vista Suites include dressing areas, oversized work desks and luxurious bathrooms with soaking tubs and dual showerheads. In addition, the hotel recently debuted a new 2,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art fitness center adjacent to the first floor lobby.

“This new phase of The London West Hollywood elevates the property’s suite accommodations by introducing an even larger and more lavish room product that further enhances the luxury experience synonymous with The London brand,” says Jeff Kulek, general manager of The London West Hollywood.
