Starwood’s Aloft brand has made its debut in Cancun and is the first Aloft hotel in Mexico. Aloft Cancun’s 177 loft-like rooms have nine-foot ceilings and oversized windows to create a bright, airy environment. The new hotel has public spaces where guests can mix and mingle, work on laptops, play a game of pool or grab a drink with friends at the re:mix communal lobby area or at the w xyz bar. The hotel also features a rooftop pool and the re:fuel cafe, as well as a re:charge gym and approximately 6,500 square feet of banquet and meeting space.
Aloft Cancun is located in the Hotel Zone, adjacent to the Cancun Center, the city’s convention and exhibition center. The hotel is 25 minutes from the international airport and within walking distance of dining, shopping and nightlife.
The Aloft brand will triple its presence in Mexico when Aloft Merida and Aloft Guadalajara open in 2014.
