The new Barceló Maya Beach Resort is the fifth ultra-luxury hotel to open at the popular Barceló Maya Beach Resort along Mexico’s Mayan Riviera.  The hotel offers views of the Caribbean waters from every angle.  It is an all-suite, Premium Barceló property which means that guests are welcomed with Barceló’s signature Club Premium Service including private check-in, extra in-room amenities and many personal touches.

Built in the style of a Moorish palace, the hotel is resplendent with large palazzos and patios where guests can relax.  For fine dining the new hotel includes three gourmet restaurants and two buffet restaurants, as well as a beach grill, and pool and lobby bars.  And when it comes to dining, the options are nearly endless as guests of the Barceló Maya Palace Hotel are also welcome to dine at any of the resort’s 14 other fine and casual restaurants.

Spacious guest suites have separate sleeping and sitting areas, as well as a large contemporary spa style bathroom finished with natural stone, a walk-in shower and a garden style tub.  All the suites offer ocean or garden views, and large patios or balconies.

Guests of the Barceló Maya Palace hotel enjoy their own swimming pools and private beach, but they can also take advantage of the entire resort’s comprehensive facilities.  The Barceló Maya Beach Resort includes more than a mile of sparkling Caribbean beach protected by a natural coral reef and is surrounded by a 500,000 square meter nature park. There are six swimming pools, including a special children’s pool with water slides and a play area, and The Barcy Club for Kids.  There are two theaters with nightly entertainment, onsite scuba diving facilities, shopping arcades and of course, water sports.  There is a new European-style Mayan influenced spa offering a lavish menu of treatments including a Mayan style sweat lodge.

The Barceló Maya Palace Hotel is less than 50 miles from the Cancun International Airport and close to the area’s many attractions including the ancient Mayan ruins of Tulum.  For more information and reservations contact your travel agent or visit www.barcelo.com or call 1-800-BARCELO.

And in the Dominican….Barcelo’s newest luxury retreat…The Barceló Bavaro Palace Hotel

For vacationers looking for one of the best beach experiences in the Dominican, Barceló re-introduces the all-new Barceló Bavaro Palace Hotel.  This favorite hotel is completing a multi-million dollar renovation and expansion that includes the addition of 488 new junior guest suites, as well as renovated deluxe guest rooms, and refurbished public spaces.  Almost all of the new guest rooms and suites offer a sea view and balcony with a private Jacuzzi, as well as large flat screen TV’s, wireless internet connections, king size deluxe beds with comfort bedding, environmentally friendly light systems and large spa style bathrooms.  And as a Premium Barceló property guests are welcomed with Barceló’s signature Club Premium Service including private check-in, extra in-room amenities and many personal touches

The Barceló Bavaro Palace Hotel is the ultra luxury component of the Barceló Bavaro Beach Resort, an all-inclusive resort complex that includes four hotels set on more than two miles of beach, a casino, an 18-hole golf course, a conference center, 14 buffet and a la carte restaurants, three theaters, and a discotheque.  Guests may also choose from a wide range of sports facilities including tennis, windsurfing, sailing, and a signature Barcy Kids Club.  The resort is served by the Punta Cana International Airport.
