Today’s hotels are offering a variety of children’s amenities and Homewood Suites by Hilton has taken it a step further with its own book series, Lewis the Duck.
The plucky hotel mascot and his family are the centerpiece of the series’ second book, “Lewis Goes to Canada,” in which Lewis and his two children accompany his wife, Lois, on a business trip to Canada. There, while on “workcation,” the family discovers how to find a balance between work and family life — something many of today’s busy families can relate to.
The hardcover book is available for purchase at the brand’s Suite Shop convenience stores, as is a family four-pack of rubber duckies of Lewis, Lois, Lisa and Lance for guests ages 24 months and older. The hotel encourages parents to buy the book to read to their kids during their stay, or to bring home with them as a souvenir. Kids can also play an online game with Lewis and family at LewisTheDuckGame.com.
