The beautiful All Inclusive Riu Emerald Bay Hotel will open its doors May 29, 2009 onto the dazzling sands of Playa Las Brujas. Rising above Mexico's stunning Pacific coast, this lovely resort is only 7.5 miles from downtown Mazatlan and enjoys easy and reliable access to destinations around the world. With the best All Inclusive program anywhere and its gorgeous sun-drenched beaches, this is the ideal choice for impressive group getaways and successful conferences and conventions.

Three conference rooms accommodate meetings and events of all types and sizes. Adjustable configurations and movable furnishings allow groups to adjust the spaces as needed, and state-of-the-art technology and global access assure professional and effective presentations. Add to that the modern décor and a variety of refreshment and dining services, meal selections and table service, and you have the perfect combination for an unforgettable event or celebration.

The employees at RIU Hotels & Resorts are highly trained, enthusiastic and motivated. Experts at all types of business and social gatherings, the RIU staff is professional and polite, and is the foundation of the renowned, high-quality service that makes this group of hotels and resorts famous around the world.

The hotel itself features 716 guestrooms all stylishly decorated and offering surprising and personal touches. Dining is a delight with a variety of excellent specialty restaurants, including the main restaurant "Las Tres Islas", with its specialty theme buffets three nights per week. "Las Gaviotas" steakhouse and grill satisfies those big appetites, while the unique "Bamboo" creates beautiful and delicious Asian dishes and the superb restaurant "Tabasco" features expertly seasoned Mexican cuisine.

A lively and entertaining nightlife is enhanced by the eclectic and fun bars, such as the aquatic bar "Playa Bruja" and the lobby bar "El Cerro". Sports fans will appreciate their Sports Bar, and "La Plaza" bar and "El Estero" lounge offer an alternative ambiance. The hip and adventurous crowd will love the discotheque "Pacha", a great place for hooking up with friends.or making new ones.

Water lovers will be thrilled with the extraordinary variety of aquatic activities, like wind-surfing, sailing, kayaking, snorkeling and scuba diving. Beach volleyball, ping-pong and other recreational activities provide nice options for land lovers, and fine entertainment programs for all ages are available throughout the day and evening. A complete gym and a relaxing Spa offer even more diversions and the swimming pools with integrated Jacuzzis are handsomely designed and refreshingly inviting.

Children of all ages will love the amazing variety of areas created just for them, from their very own swimming pool to their private miniclub and the fantastic playground.
