The Hard Rock Hotel chain has been steadily opening properties in Cancun and Puerto Vallarta, and the latest “Hacienda of Rock” to open is The Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya. The property is fresh off a multimillion-dollar renovation to its existing Aventura Palace property, and the all-inclusive hotel has undergone a rock ‘n’ roll makeover to reflect the Hard Rock brand. Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya opened last October and an official reflagging ceremony is slated for Dec. 10.

“We’re thrilled to introduce Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya to our growing portfolio of all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotels,” said Rafael Chapur, chief operating officer of the All Inclusive Collection. “At our third property in Mexico, we continue to enhance the all-inclusive vacation experience by providing superior guest service, iconic memorabilia and luxurious all-inclusive amenities for guests of all ages. Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya is truly a labor of love that we know will be a sought-out vacation destination for years to come.”

The beachfront hotel is marketed to guests of all ages, while still offering adults-only and family-friendly resort experiences. The hotel has 1,264 guestrooms with hydro tubs in each room, balconies and terrace views and new, expansive sky terrace options. Deluxe Gold and Deluxe Diamond suites have DVD and CD players, satellite televisions, iPod docking stations and Wi-Fi access.

Resort features include expansive outdoor pools, a private beach, nine restaurants and eight bars and lounges. The property also includes 88,915 square feet of meeting and event space for banquets, themed parties, weddings and concerts.

Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya offers several youth-friendly components, including HIT Entertainment's Little Big Club, Teens Lounge & Club and activities such as snorkeling and kayaking. In addition, the “resort within the resort,” an adults-only section called Heaven, includes the Hard Rock’s signature Rock Spa with 75 treatment rooms, four restaurants and three sophisticated bars and lounges, including a premium service nightclub.

A resort credit of $1,800 is currently being offered for travel from Dec. 24 through Dec. 23, 2014. To receive the $1,800 resort credit, a booking minimum of five nights is required. Guests booking a four-night stay receive a $750 resort credit. The credit can be used on golf, spa and beauty salon treatments, available room upgrades, romantic dinners and an upgraded wine list.
