Barcelo Unveils New Agent Loyalty Program
Barcelo Hotels & Resorts recently unveiled a new loyalty program for North American travel agents. The new B Partner program enables agents to earn complimentary vacation stays at Barcelo’s 36 all-inclusive hotels and resorts throughout Mexico, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.
For all bookings made and fulfilled after Nov. 1, 2008, registered agents will receive 15 perks for each night booked at a Premium Barcelo hotel, or 10 perks for each night booked at a Barcelo hotel. Free night stays are achieved with as little as 300 perks or 20 booked room nights at a Premium Barcelo property.
The new B Partner program is open to all certified travel agents who register online at BarceloPartnerClub.com.

Hyatt Gets Down to Business
Hyatt Hotels & Resorts’ year-round Hyatt Business Plan allows clients to combine accommodations with complimentary business amenities. The plan is available at 190 participating Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide, including the Hyatt Regency, Grand Hyatt and Park Hyatt brands.
In the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean, guests who book a Business Plan Room Type at Hyatt Regency and Grand Hyatt hotels will receive daily full breakfast for one; daily Internet access for one; a bottle of water refreshed daily; a daily newspaper; one pressed shirt or blouse per room, per day; and unlimited local, toll-free and long-distance calls to the U.S. and Canada.
In Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia/Pacific, Latin America and at Park Hyatt hotels worldwide, a Business Plan Package includes daily full breakfast for up to two adults and two children; daily Internet access for one computer; a bottle of water refreshed daily; a daily newspaper; and one piece of laundry pressed or washed, per room, per day.
Also, now through April 30, Hyatt Gold Passport members who stay eight nights or more will earn 20,000 bonus points redeemable for free nights at Hyatt hotels worldwide.

Fairmont Thanks Agents With Gift Cards
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is thanking its travel agent members by offering them gift cards, as well as VIP savings on services and amenities that include dining, spa treatments and golf at select Fairmont properties worldwide.
To redeem the gift cards, an agent must be a member of Fairmont Famous, the hotel brand’s travel agent education and recognition program. Agents can redeem points for the gift cards year-round and without limits. Fairmont Famous agents earn one point per qualified room night and can now earn bonus points based on the U.S. dollar value of a client’s total room revenue per stay. One point earned through the program is valued at $1 for the gift card.
Through March 31, agents can present their Famous membership card at select locations, including The Fairmont Chicago and the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac, to receive discounts on spa treatments, retail items and meals.
