Karisma Hotels & Resorts is poised for a February debut of Generations Riviera Maya. The all-inclusive resort is located on a secluded beach adjacent to Karisma’s El Dorado Casitas Royale and is the latest addition to the newly-launched “Generations Resorts by Karisma” brand.
The resort offers 144 all-suite oceanfront accommodations, with floor plans measuring 1,200 feet. The suites can adjoin other suites or be converted into two or three-bedroom apartments, making them a good choice for multi-generational family groups and destination wedding parties. There are 17 suite categories. Swim-up Suites on the first floor will have the added luxury of a water-mirror balcony from which guests can step directly into a lazy river that connects to the main pool and its swim-up bar.
Amenities in each room include an oversized balcony or terrace, a Jacuzzi for two, a 42-inch LCD TV with satellite, WiFi access, a DVD player, an iPod docking alarm clock and 24-hour room service. All suites will be accessible by stairs and an elevator. Families with children will be able to travel carefree thanks to the resort’s Gourmet Inclusive baby amenities, which include strollers, cribs, pack and plays, changing tables, monitors, bottle warmers and baby bathrobes.
The resort has four restaurants and two lounges, including casual, shared fare at Chef Market, traditional Mexican street-style cuisine at Palapa Bar & Restaurant, cozy, family-style Pan-Asian cuisine at China Table, a fresh Mediterranean menu at Habb and gourmet chocolate bites at Cacao Lobby Lounge. Generations Riviera Maya also provides an online, advance selection service to ensure that guests’ personal dining preferences are immediately available upon arrival.
Butler service assists guests by providing in-room check in, luggage unpacking services and a complimentary steam of five clothing items. For the duration of their stay, personal attendants and beach butlers will book dinner reservations and spa treatments, serve family-style meals in-suite and deliver lunch, sunscreen and reading materials to guests at the pool or beach.
The resort’s Eko Kids Club has activities for kids ages 4 to 12. Eko Kids Club will include a movie area, craft station, library and gaming consoles. Baby Beach Lounges provide toys and nanny service for infants and toddlers.
2014 rates begin at $289 per person per night, based on double occupancy, and $67 per child per night. This includes Karisma’s signature Gourmet Inclusive experience, featuring gourmet a la carte meals, premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, 24-hour room service and a full-service concierge.
