With the opening of three new hotels this year in New York, Toronto and Chicago, Langham Hospitality Group doubled its properties in North America. In May, Langham opened its five-star hotel Langham Place, Fifth Avenue, in New York City.
In July, Langham unveiled two more hotels — the Langham, Chicago and the Eaton Chelsea, Toronto. The Langham, Chicago is located downtown in a skyscraper designed by architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. In Toronto, Langham introduced its four-star Eaton brand to North America.
