The London West Hollywood’s $25 million three-phase renovation is currently in its final stage. The property in West Hollywood, Calif., debuted its ninth-floor Royal Vista Suites and Gate Suites last year and unveiled its second of phase renovations — a 110-seat screening room on the first floor — in January. The hotel is now in the final stages of its upgrades, including the addition of Metropolitan Suites and Penthouse Inspired by Vivienne Westwood.
The three one- and two-bedroom second-floor Metropolitan Suites (the Strand, Regent Street and Park Lane) are inspired by the elegance of London. The exquisitely designed suites — which range from 1,600 to 2,200 square feet — create a sense of luxury, from bespoke furniture to walk-in closets and large marble bathrooms with free-standing tubs. The Regent Street suite can connect to the Park Lane suite to create a three-bedroom suite. All Metropolitan Suites are currently available for bookings.
The renovations are set to conclude this month, with the completion of Penthouse Inspired by Vivienne Westwood. This bi-level, 10th-floor penthouse suite will be the largest in Los Angeles. The 6,000 square feet of indoor space features a grand salon flanked by two atriums, a master bedroom suite, a second bedroom, a media room, a kitchen and a dining room. Additionally, the space will include a 5,000-square-foot private outdoor rooftop terrace.
Crafted in collaboration between Richmond Design and fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, the penthouse will also feature exclusive art and customized furnishings by Westwood’s design studio, bringing an element of the fashion brand into the space. Guests of the suite will also be treated with exclusive perks, including an hour of private shopping and discounts at Westwood’s West Hollywood store, gift bags from Vivienne Westwood upon arrival and in-suite Westwood-branded amenities.

In addition, the property has updated its dining offerings. In February, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, who had opened his eponymous restaurant at the hotel in 2008, officially ended his partnership with The London West Hollywood. Chef Anthony Keene, who took over from Ramsay a few years ago, remains at the helm, but the restaurant is now called Boxwood.
