As a token of appreciation to the travel agent community, Palace
Resorts has extended its Travel Agent Commission Program throughout
2005. The program encourages agents to book as many reservations as
possible. The more bookings, the more money earned. It applies to
bookings of at least three nights at any Palace Resort in Mexico.
For each stay of three nights or longer, travel agents receive a
$50 bonus commission per room. For every 10th room reserved, agents
receive an additional $250 bonus commission. The more bookings, the
more bonus commission agents will earn.
Groups of up to 25 rooms qualify for this promotion. Any
additional rooms within the same group booking cannot be claimed.
Travel agent, fam rates, Interline or discounted rates do not
qualify. Other restrictions apply.
Participating properties include: Moon Palace Golf & Spa
Resort, Beach Palace, Cancun Palace and Sun Palace, and Riviera
Maya - Aventura Spa Palace and Xpu-Ha Palace.
Three of Palace Resorts’ recently purchased properties in Mexico
that reopened in December have been renamed and will undergo
extensive refurbishments and renovations.
The new hotels in the Palace Resorts portfolio are Playacar
Palace, previously Hotel Continental Plaza Playacar; Cozumel
Palace, formerly Hotel Plaza Las Glorias Cozumel; and Vallarta
Palace, formerly Hotel Sierra Nuevo Vallarta.
“We are thrilled to add these properties to our portfolio of
quality resorts and offer our clients a new selection of properties
in new and exciting destinations,” said Roberto Chapur, president
of Palace Resorts.
With 220 rooms, Playacar Palace is located in the picturesque
town of Playacar. A golfer’s favorite, the resort is located just
steps from Palace’s renowned Robert Von Hagge’s Golf Course at
Playacar, and near the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course in
Cancun. Playacar Palace’s lobby, pool and common areas were
renovated, and Jacuzzis were added to all rooms.
A diver’s paradise, Cozumel offers snorkeling and diving right
off its beach. Renovations to this 174-room resort include the
incorporation of Jacuzzis in all rooms, and upgrades to the lobby,
pool and common areas. Guests staying at Cozumel Palace will have
exchange privileges to visit other Palace Resorts properties in the
Riviera Maya and Cancun.
On Mexico’s West Coast, the 362-room Vallarta is nestled against
the Sierra Madre Mountains on Banderas Bay in the heart of the
colonial fishing village of Nuevo Vallarta. Vallarta Palace’s
common areas are being refurbished. Its meeting facilities will be
expanded and all of the ocean-view rooms will feature a double
Jacuzzi.
All-inclusive packages at Palace Resorts include accommodations,
taxes and gratuities, all meals and snacks, alcoholic and
non-alcoholic beverages, non-motorized watersports, nightly
entertainment and tours. While golf packages are available at all
resorts, wedding packages are available at selected properties.
