As a token of appreciation to the travel agent community, Palace
Resorts has extended its Travel Agent Commission Program through
2005.
The program encourages agents to book as many reservations as
possible at any of the Palace Resorts hotels in Cancun and the
Riviera Maya by December 31 in exchange for what the company terms
as “generous” bonus commissions. For each stay of three nights or
longer, agents receive a $50 bonus commission per room. For every
tenth room reserved, an additional $250 bonus commission is
offered.
“We are pleased to renew this exciting bonus program,” said
Maira Briceno, Director of Marketing for Palace Resorts. “This is
our way of saying thank you to the travel agent community for all
of their help in making Palace Resorts such a success through the
years.”
Travel agents interested in taking advantage of the Commission
Program can make reservations through a wholesaler, GDS (use VE
code) or by calling Palace Resorts. The program is restricted to
groups of up to 25 rooms. Any additional rooms within the same
group booking cannot be claimed. Travel agent, FAM rates, Interline
or discounted rates do not qualify. Other restrictions apply.
Once the reservations have been made, qualified travel agents
can claim their bonus commission by requesting a claim form from
Palace Resorts, via the 800-number, extension 6060. Agents can also
download the form from the company’s website. Upon completing the
form, agents can fax it back to (305) 416-6576. A representative
from Palace Resorts will contact agents after receiving the
completed form.
Palace Resorts offers six all-inclusive properties in Cancun and
the Riviera Maya. Four new Palace Resorts properties will open
later this year - Cozumel Palace, Vallarta Palace, Playacar Palace
and Le Blanc Spa Resort (a new luxury brand for Palace
Resorts).
