Paradisus Guests Treated Like 'Royalty'

Sep 01, 2006

As if guests of Sol Melia’s Paradisus Riviera Cancun Resort aren’t pampered enough with its all-suite accommodations, gourmet dining and range of complimentary amenities, now they’re in for even more upscale touches. The all-inclusive property is reserving its Royal Service for adults and couples only a move that is part of a new branding strategy allowing the resort to better serve its guests.

Paradisus first introduced the adults-only concept at the Paradisus Palma Real Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It will transition the one-of-a-kind Royal Service for adults-only at the Paradisus Riviera Cancun Resort effective Sept.15.

“We’re dedicating Royal Service in order to enhance the vacation experience of adult guests, and we feel it will give us an interesting competitive advantage,” commented Susanna Mander, director of brand management for Paradisus Resorts. “We’re creating a romantic oasis for couples so they can find their own slice of paradise.”

Paradisus’ adults-only Royal Service offers unequaled luxurious accommodations and amenities with a strong focus on personalized attention and service. Guests will continue to enjoy private check-in and check-out, an exclusive Royal Service lounge, indulgent butler service, private beach and pool areas, and pillow menu selections. Newly introduced indulgences include a personalized in-room mini-bar, choice of in-room Espresso or coffee machine and customized turndown service adapted to their own desire.

As for dining and activities, Royal Service guests receive preferential reservations for specialty restaurants, spa and excursions, plus a la carte dining for breakfast and lunch in an exclusive restaurant.

Paradisus Riviera Cancun’s exclusive Royal Service is a member of “Leading Hotels of the World,” a distinction merited by only a handful of hotels and resorts globally. The honor recognizes not only the exceptional service and overall guest experience, but the Royal Service suites themselves.

Oversized with panoramic garden or romantic ocean views, each suite features elegant mahogany furnishings with spacious living room area, Jacuzzi for two, private terraces and an in-room CD player.

Especially designed for couples, the Royal Service Imperial Romance suites are perfect for a romantic interlude, providing fresh flowers, chocolates, “his and hers” bathrobes and keepsake Paradisus branded clothing items. Couples will enjoy French gourmet L’Hermitage products, and may select from a variety of romantic activities.

A member of “Leading Spas of the World,” the property’s Renova Spa pampers guests with a myriad of services and treatments, including body wraps, massages and scrubs, a relaxation lounge, steam bath and sauna, two Jacuzzis, beauty salon and state-of-the-art fitness center.
