Temptation Resort & Spa Launches in Cancun

Feb 27, 2008

Who says that temptations can’t be positive? An evolutionary concept in Cancun, the new 384-room Temptation Resort & Spa welcomes singles and couples to experience a contemporary take on the all-inclusive holiday. A hip vibe is the hallmark of this beachfront resort where the over-21 atmosphere allows guests to invigorate and refresh in a vibrating atmosphere.

Since opening in December, Temptations has greeted guests with an all-inclusive experience where rates cover accommodations, meals, gourmet dining, room service for continental breakfast, all drinks and cocktails, daily activities, nightly entertainment, non-motorized watersports, billiards, ping-pong, hotel taxes and tips.

“We have received a very positive response since opening,” said Alma Mendoza, Temptation’s director of sales. “We have completely upgraded the resort from top to bottom the food and beverage program has been renewed and upgraded, new restaurants have been added, all entertainment has been enhanced and we’ve added a new disco. Guests love the new look of the property and our repeat guests are amazed with the changes.”

The perfect place for singles and couples to meet, mix and mingle, Temptation Resort & Spa offers guests unlimited options to unwind and delight in their Cancun vacation. Vacationers can jump into all the action, sit back to watch the excitement or find an intimate spot to recharge away from the crowds.

“We offer a completely different concept than other adult-only properties,” Mendoza said. “Temptation Resort & Spa is a very fun, dynamic atmosphere with a sexy twist for adults 21 and over. It’s the ideal getaway for singles and couples to have a great time, meet new friends, and enjoy an all-inclusive vacation with excellent service and delightful gastronomic experiences.”

Temptation’s exquisitely decorated guestrooms offer three categories, all with private terraces or balconies. Gourmands will enjoy new gastronomic experiences, including six dining options serving buffet or a la carte menu choices.

The resort’s spa indulges as a haven to luxuriate and pamper with a selection of body and facial treatments masterfully executed by highly trained therapists. Temptation’s Getaway Cast Members lead the charge each day with activities that include everything from water recreation, beach sports and pool games to contests filled with temptations.

Temptation Resort & Spa is located on the fourteen-mile-long island between the hotel zone’s Party Central and downtown Cancun. Guests arriving into Cancun International Airport will travel 20 short minutes to the resort.

Nightly rates range from $139-$206 per room and are based on double occupancy. Taxes and gratuities are included. Although the regular travel agent commission is 10 percent, agents will enjoy a 15 percent commission on all direct bookings until March 31 for travel to Dec. 22.

Agents are also invited to experience Temptation Resort & Spa firsthand with special professional rates valid throughout 2008. Agents will receive a bottle of sparkling wine and an upgrade to an oceanview room (based upon availability) as a special welcome gift.

Nightly Travel Agent Rates for deluxe room accommodations are $80 through March 31, $70 April 1-Aug. 16 and $60 Aug. 17-Dec. 22. Rates are per person based on double occupancy, and are subject to change. At least one person in the party must be an active travel agent and present an IATA ID card upon registration.

“We are also announcing a special travel agent ‘month’ from May 6 through June 30, and are offering two free nights for certified travel agents to experience Temptation Resort & Spa,” said Mendoza.
