Faena New York opened today at 500 West 18th Street, marking the luxury hospitality brand's expansion into Manhattan after successful launches in Buenos Aires and Miami Beach.

The 120-room hotel, designed by Bjarke Ingels Group, overlooks the High Line and features a restaurant by renowned chef Francis Mallmann. The property includes guestrooms and suites with floor-to-ceiling windows offering Hudson River and city skyline views.

La Boca, Mallmann's signature restaurant, focuses on Patagonian fire-cooking techniques and features pop-art murals by Edgardo Gimenez. The hotel's social hub, The Living Room on the second floor, contains 134 seats across lounge areas and cocktail tables, plus a 900-square-foot terrace overlooking High Line Park.

The property's lobby, called The Cathedral, displays a site-specific mural titled "The Sefirotic Journey" by Argentine artist Diego Gravinese. Additional spaces include El Secreto, featuring a deconstructed disco ball by Sebastian Errazuriz, and La Cava, inspired by the original wine cellar at Faena Buenos Aires.

The hotel's top accommodation is the two-story Faena Suite, accessed by private elevator and featuring three king bedrooms, a baby grand piano and landscaped terrace with panoramic city views.

Tierra Santa Healing House, a 12,000-square-foot wellness facility with hammam, treatment rooms and fitness studios, will open later this year. Faena Theater is scheduled to debut in spring 2026.

The property also includes a public plaza for art installations and performances through Faena Art, the company's nonprofit organization.
