Tell us a little more about the Stay Green initiative. What does it entail, and has the company seen notable results from the program?

The Stay Green initiative is our commitment to sustainability, focusing on reducing our environmental impact through various practices such as energy efficiency, waste reduction and supporting local communities. The initiative has led to significant results, including a 20% reduction in water consumption, a 25% reduction in waste generated by our operations and a substantial decrease in food waste. Our long-term goal is to reduce our carbon footprint by up to 75% in the next decade through strategic initiatives, including:

- Increasing the use of renewable energy by up to 50% of our operational needs.

- Utilizing environmentally friendly cooling agents for air conditioning and refrigeration.

- Implementing low-energy consumption equipment.

- Eliminating single-use plastics or adopting alternative materials, among other measures.

How else does the company focus on and promote sustainability?

Ocean by H10 Hotels promotes sustainability by implementing eco-friendly practices across all its properties. These include reducing single-use plastics, optimizing energy and water usage and sourcing locally produced goods. We also engage guests in our efforts by encouraging their participation in green practices during their stay.
