The Peninsula Beverly Hills has completed a design refresh of its 195 guestrooms and rooftop facilities, partnering with interior design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates for the project.

The update comes as the hotel approaches its 35th anniversary in 2026.

"As we look ahead to celebrating the hotel's 35th anniversary of providing exceptional hospitality in 2026, this refurbishment involves more than introducing modern updates,” said Offer Nissenbaum, the property’s managing director. “It's a continuation of a legacy and an embodiment of the care and artistry that have defined The Peninsula Beverly Hills since its inception."

The Renaissance-style property maintained its French-inspired aesthetic throughout the refresh. Guestrooms now feature updated color palettes with soft pinks, powder blues and muted greens intended to create a residential atmosphere. New furnishings include desks, marble quartz surfaces, French-inspired upholstery, Bergere-style lounge chairs and canapes.

The hotel reconfigured room layouts to increase natural light and circulation. Decorative elements added to the spaces include porcelain vases, gold-framed mirrors and metallic sconces. Original features from the hotel's opening were preserved, including Rose Aurora marble vanities sourced from Portugal and artwork by Hampton Hall. The property's drapery was reproduced by the original manufacturers to maintain existing patterns.

The rooftop renovation expanded the space with additional cabanas and lounge chairs. The rooftop now features 10 cabanas decorated with yellow and white stripes. Each cabana includes a 50-inch high-definition television, a Bluetooth sound system and all-day dining service.
