The hustle and bustle of Puerto Vallarta can turn a relaxing
getaway into a hectic experience when staying in the heart of the
city. But the alternative all-inclusive or large resort hotel can
also leave clients feeling isolated and out of the loop. The Villa
Premiere’s ability to blend the luxury of a secluded hotel stay
with the vibe of Vallarta is what makes it a perfect choice for
clients headed to this Mexican Pacific destination.
Located on a long strip of sandy beach, the Premiere’s two
pools, swim-up bar and views of the ocean compromise nothing in the
way of luxury. It’s a quick walk to the Malecon, the city’s central
hub for dining, shopping and entertainment, and the hotel’s central
location and laidback environment make it a perfect choice for
clients wishing to escape but who still want to connect with
Vallarta’s sophisticated restaurants and pulsing nightlife.
Comforts of Home
Guestrooms are spacious and comfortable with large bathrooms and
traditional decorations. In-room amenities include Jacuzzi tub, wet
bar, coffee maker and mini bar, and for added comfort, terrycloth
robes, slippers and a hairdryer are also provided.
In the coming year, the hotel plans to upgrade linens and add a
pillow menu as well as equip rooms with mosquito screens on
sliding-glass doors.
In addition to these in-room comforts, Villa Premiere provides
24-hour concierge service, a gift shop, full-service spa and for
clients who like to mix work with pleasure, a business center.
Features like these are what make the hotel feel like a large-scale
resort without detracting from its boutique ambiance.
Eating In
If clients prefer the seclusion of the hotel to Vallarta’s
nightlife, they can take advantage of the hotel’s three
restaurants.
Los Murales serves a variety of Mexican gourmet cuisine,
including exotic dishes like red snapper with Saint Jacques
scallops served with cactus and black bean sauce and marinated duck
with dark beer. Clients can enjoy the creations of chef Jose Zamora
with live Latin music playing in the background, making Los Murales
perfect for a romantic evening.
The Manglar serves a variety of international cuisine and La
Ceiba, an open-air, seaside restaurant features a more casual menu
and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Here, guests can order
hamburgers, burritos, sandwiches or my personal favorite: shrimp
enchiladas.
Although I found all the restaurants more than satisfactory, my
number-one place to grab a bite was at the swim-up bar. Guests can
enjoy tasty margaritas with chips, salsa and guacamole without
leaving the pool. In my opinion, There’s no better way to cool
off.
Relaxation
One of the hotel’s most alluring features is the Premiere Spa.
For ultimate relaxation, clients can take advantage of a wide range
of specialized body treatments like wine therapy massage or choose
from a variety of different massages, hydrotherapies and scrubs.
The spa also offers facials and a full-service salon. Sauna, steam
rooms, showers, dressing rooms and lockers are all available to
guests at no charge.
