Hotel Xcaret Mexico Is Ideal for Meetings and Events

Hotel Xcaret Mexico has already upped the ante on the traditional idea of an all-inclusive hotel with its All-Fun Inclusive concept. But with state-of-the-art facilities ideal for the MICE industry; a focus on sustainability; and a variety of theme parks that allow groups and travel companions to blow off steam before, after and during events, the property offers its own take on meetings and get-togethers.

“Guests staying at Hotel Xcaret Mexico have access to diverse meeting spaces and facilities within the property, as well as at all our nature parks, that are perfect for hosting indoor and outdoor events,” said Manuel Saracho, sales director for groups and conventions at the property.

A Range of Facilities
As of 2018, Hotel Xcaret Mexico has hosted some 500 events, and it has consistently received positive feedback from the companies with which it has worked, according to Saracho.

The property’s main meeting backdrop is the Hun Ka Ox convention center, which has space for up to 1,100 guests. The venue is divided into three rooms and is ideal for medium to large events.

Another space is Xpiral, located at the top of the hotel’s Maya-inspired pyramid. This round room can serve up to 400 guests and offers views of the ocean, beaches, rivers and coves surrounding the property.

Hacienda Henenquera is another unique on-site meetings and events venue. The hacienda itself — a replica of the local mansions of the early 20th century — has a room for events that can be divided into four spaces, with a total capacity of 1,420 people. A separate patio at the hacienda can hold up to 500 guests, and there’s a living room, a dining room, a kitchen and a chapel available, as well. All areas are decorated with period furniture and exude old-world charm.

Additionally, each space at Hotel Xcaret Mexico is outfitted with top-notch audiovisual equipment; features unlimited Wi-Fi access; and can be catered with cuisine from any of the property’s restaurants. A specialized on-site coordinator is also provided to assist meeting leaders.

Fun for All
Although Hotel Xcaret Mexico’s meetings program may be reason enough to book the property, its unique All-Fun Inclusive concept offers even more.

“Throughout our parks and tours, we offer several opportunities for groups to connect with Mexican culture and natural surroundings,” Saracho said. “And we enable travel companions to enjoy endless entertainment while events are taking place.”

The hotel’s facilities have something for everyone. At the Xplor and Xplor Fuego parks, adventurers can zipline in the treetops of the Riviera Maya and ride ATVs. At Xcaret, nature lovers and younger travelers can visit an eco-park with three underground rivers; sites of Maya ruins; and an aquarium. At Xel-ha, groups can snorkel, swim and cliff-jump.

By combining work and play, Hotel Xcaret Mexico looks to satisfy guests’ every need — a formula that makes a travel advisor’s job that much easier.
