The Spa at the Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel, now offers celebrity facialist Kate Somerville products and treatments. And, to promote the partnership, actress Kate Walsh, of the hit show “Grey’s Anatomy” and the soon-to-debut spin-off “Private Practice,” made a poolside appearance at the hotel’s launch party in Beverly Hills, Calif.
While Walsh is a fan of Somerville’s products, other high-profile personalities including Felicity Huffman, Jessica Alba, Paris Hilton and Debra Messing also depend on her treatments, and now guests of The Spa at the Beverly Wilshire can enjoy the same A-list pampering.
Using high-grade ingredients and cutting-edge technology, The Spa at the Beverly Wilshire and Somerville say they are dedicated to helping clients attain “vibrant, youthful skin.” In addition to Somerville’s well-known DermaLucent PhotoTherapy and DermalQuench Oxygen Therapy, a men’s facial and signature Beverly Wilshire facial are also offered. An upscale Southern California hotel is bound to host its share of celebrities, whether they are at play or at work. The oceanfront Hotel Casa del Mar in Santa Monica, Calif., is now making work even more luxurious for entertainment hotshots by wiring two floors of the eight-story property to accommodate press junkets.
Of the hotel’s 129 guestrooms and suites, there are two designated green rooms for studio executives and publicists to monitor interviews; two control rooms; and 10 wired rooms. The property also offers three two-story penthouse suites and a three-bedroom presidential suite.
“Our decision to wire the hotel was a natural progression,” said Klaus Mennekes, vice president and managing director of Edward Thomas Collection, which includes Hotel Casa del Mar. “Hotel Casa del Mar has been an entertainment industry favorite since opening in 1999. Hollywood starlet Jessica Alba recently horsed around at an InStyle June cover photo shoot at The Stables at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa. The new Elemis Spa at Loews Miami Beach Hotel has debuted, and features trendy treatments and luxurious meals that will appeal to celebs and civilians alike.
