American Express Travel bestowed the Representative Excellence
Award for 2006 to 27 members of its U.S. Representative Travel
Network. Those honored received a seven-day Wings Over the Nile
trip to Egypt from INTRAV, which will take place April 12-19. The
prize includes a private chartered jet to Abu Simbel and a trip
down the Nile on the luxurious Oberoi Philae.
The award is given to member agencies that reached superior
sales results driving cruise and tour supplier goals and have
secured the highest year-over-year growth.
“The Representative Excellence Award recognizes our
top-performing Representative agencies,” said Ellen Bettridge, vice
president of the U.S. Representative Travel Network. “These 27
agencies have represented the American Express brand well and
delivered extraordinary results in 2006.”
